The Booth Library offers an analytical research service for researchers unable to visit our facility.

Members of the Chemung County Historical Society are provided with up to two hours of research service per year at no cost. Members can purchase additional research service hours at discounted rates.

Individuals who are not members of the Society will be charged an hourly research service fee of $20 for one hour, and $15 per hour for each additional hour.

**Researchers must pay relevant fees in advance. An estimate of total research time can be determined in the first hour of research and provided to the requestor.

Because of staff time involved in processing research requests, the research service fee is non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the search. The research service fee does not cover photo-duplication costs.
