Welcome to the Booth Library manuscript index.

Historical:Donald Cronkwrite (1920-1999) was the son of Fred F. (1894-1977) and Helen Walden Cronkwrite (1895-1949). He was born and raised in Elmira, graduating from Southside High School in 1939. He served in the U.S. military during World War II. He worked as a carpenter after the war. He and his wife, Betty Randall Cronkwrite (1921-2012) had two children, James and Kaye.
Scope:

The Donald Cronkwrite Papers is broken down into two series:

Series I : Donald Cronkwrite Papers contain his personal papers, 1922-2000, including material from the Southside High School Class of 1939

Series II: Marshall Cecce Papers containing the personal papers of his son-in-law, 1962-1982.
