Welcome to the Booth Library manuscript index. 

The manuscript index contains links to finding aids for the collections of the Booth Library.  Each finding aid has a description of that collection along with a listing of the items within that collection.  The Booth Library staff and volunteers are updating the index daily in order to make your research experience more productive.

The items in this collection were donated by the members of the Wednesday Morning Club in 2008.

Historical:Wednesday Morning Club-The Wednesday Morning Club was founded in 1892 for the stated purpose of study and discussion as a means of intellectual improvement for the women of the club.  To that end, the club meets every other Wednesday from October to May for a series of lectures on each seasons' topic presented by the members.  The club is still in existence today.
Scope:The Wednesday Morning Club Collection contains materials relating to the club including a nearly complete run of the club's annual programs from 1895 to 2005; meeting minutes, 1892-2007; Treasurers' reports and records, 1916-1983; Corresponding Secretaries' material, 1972-1983; and essays presented to the club, 1988-2008.
