Welcome to the Booth Library manuscript index. 

The manuscript index contains links to finding aids for the collections of the Booth Library.  Each finding aid has a description of that collection along with a listing of the items within that collection.  The Booth Library staff and volunteers are updating the index daily in order to make your research experience more productive.

Talitha Botsford

John Bovier

Francis Palmer was a resident of Elmira.  During World War II he served in the United States Navy, stationed at the Panama Canal. 

Mabel Allen graduated from Elmira Free Academy in 1904 and Elmira College in 1907.  She married Fredrick Crocker and worked briefly as a school teacher.

Frank Bentley graduated from Elmira Free Academy in 1875.  He earned a degree as a lawyer and was a partner in the Horseheads law firm, Bentley & Bush.
