American Society for Quality Control - The American Society for Quality Control, Inc. was created in 1946 to engage in the management, engineering, and scientific aspects of quality and reliability.  Its national headquarters were located at 161 West Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  The Corning-Elmira Section was chartered in 1955 to serve the Twin Tiers area of southern New York and northern Pennsylvania.  Members worked as engineers, statisticians, and technicians in industries such as electronics, glass, equipment and aircraft manufacturing, food production and construction.
