Welcome to the Booth Library manuscript index.

Historical:STC BOCES - The Schuyler-Chemung-Tioga Counties Board of Cooperative Education Services was organized in 1956 to offer adult continuing education and vocational services within the tri-county area.  In 1965, STC BOCES opened the Pauline Gaebner Bush Area Education Center, named for the district superintendent and executive officer, located on Philo Road in Horseheads, NY which has been its headquarters ever since.  BOCES offers vocational training, adult literacy courses and sponsors volunteer opportunities for seniors.   
Scope:The Education in Chemung County Collection includes newsletters, programs, brochures and other publications associated with STC BOCES activities and courses.
