“Whited Sepulcher: The Mormon Buried in Mark Twain's Heart,” by Dr. Alan Manning, Brigham Young University, and Dr. Nicole Amare, University of Southern Alabama
Dr. Amare and Dr. Manning have identified influences from Mormon theology at key points in Twain’s work, more than previous scholars had recognized. Based on their past year's findings at the Twain archives in Elmira and Hartford, they can now identify the probable source of this influence.
