Mar 24 1:00-2:30pm
CCHS is partnering with The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes to offer programming in conjunction with the ARTS Council’s exhibit The Sanctuary Show. The art in that show interprets various meanings of “sanctuary.” The show will be on view at The ARTS Council from February 15 to April 6, 2018.
The Sanctuary Family Program will take place on Saturday, March 24, 1-2:30 pm, at the Chemung County Historical Society. Professional artists will be at the museum to work with participants of all ages to create artwork inspired by stories of refugees from the museum’s collection of papers from the Methodist Committee for Overseas Relief’s programs after WWII.
This program is free and open to the public.
