Welcome to the Booth Library manuscript index.

Provenance:The items in this collection were donated to the Booth Library by Ruth Turner in 2014.

Historical:Keith Turner (1921-2000) - Son of Harry and Estella Keith Turner of Elmira, New York.  During World War II, he served in the United States Army from 1942 to 1946 with the 32nd Infantry Division.  He saw action in New Guinea and the Philippines.  Before and after the war, he worked for Bendix-Eclipse and Ingersol Rand as a tool designer. 
Scope:The Keith Turner Scrapbook contains items compiled by Harry Turner concerning his son's military service.  It includes photographs, picture postcards; correspondence, newspaper clippings, official documents and miscellaneous items.
Notes:Due to poor condition, all items were removed from the scrapbook and placed in folders.  Shares a box with CL 83 and CL 85.
