Welcome to the Booth Library manuscript index. 

The manuscript index contains links to finding aids for the collections of the Booth Library.  Each finding aid has a description of that collection along with a listing of the items within that collection.  The Booth Library staff and volunteers are updating the index daily in order to make your research experience more productive.

Provenance:The items in this collection were donated to the Booth Library by Paul Prunier in 2002.

Historical:Paul Prunier-Paul Prunier worked as a history teacher at Broadway Middle School in Elmira from 1962 to 1992.  He also served as historian for the Bicentennial Committee in 1976.  In addition to his interest in local history, Prunier was also an avid stamp collector.

The Paul Prunier Papers contain material collected by Paul Prunier for use as teaching aids in his classes including postcards and slides of local area views; United States postage stamps; WWII ration books; articles and images relating to soaring; and miscellaneous historical documents.
