Welcome to the Booth Library manuscript index.

Historical:

Cevylla Sadie McIntyre was born in Baldwin, New York on March 25, 1883 to Charles (1836-1918) and Julia (1846-1913) McIntyre. The family resided on their farm on Elston Hollow in Baldwin. Cevylla McIntyre worked as a dressmaker. She married Albert W. Smith in 1905 and the couple had one son who died soon after birth, as well as Smith’s son from his previous marriage. The couple lived in Waverly, New York for a number of years. Cevylla McIntyre Smith died on September 28, 1966 and is buried in Waverly.
