Welcome to the Booth Library manuscript index.

Provenance:The items in this collection were donated to the Booth Library by James Plate in 2002.

Pastirik Family- The Pastirik brothers, Henry and Joseph, and their wives Jean and Agnes, were residents of Horseheads, New York from the 1950s to the 1980s.  Henry and Joseph were both employed by the Eclipse Machine Division of Bendix Aviation Corps.  Jean and Agnes were involved in small-scale agriculture including strawberry farming.  During the 1960s, the Pastiriks, especially Jean, became heavily involved in Republican Party politics at both the state and local level.  Joseph died in 1962, Agnes passed away during the 1970s and Henry and Jean died in the early 1980s.

Scope:The Agnes Pastirik Papers contain materials collected by the Pastirik family including booklets, catalogs and brochures on home improvement and farming; Republican Party promotional literature and internal memos; and miscellaneous materials.
